The Crest Boxy Oversized T-Shirt
Every institution that has ever meant something has a crest.
Not a logo. Not a brand mark. A crest — something earned, something that carries the weight of everything the institution stands for, something that members wear not because they are told to but because belonging to it means something worth displaying.
The great cricket clubs of England have had their crests for 200 years. The MCC with its red and gold. The county clubs with their roses and lions and crowned shields. These crests are worn on blazers, on caps, on ties — worn by people who understand that the garment is not the point. The crest is the point. What it represents is the point.
Indian cricket has always had the passion. It has always had the talent. It has always had the devotion that makes English cricket look like a polite hobby by comparison.
Now it has the crest it deserves.
The Crest tee is the anchor piece of the Yuva Cricket Club collection. At its centre: an ornate oval shield in deep forest green — the map of India glowing faintly behind everything, golden outlines tracing the subcontinent's borders like a watermark in the background. Above the map: INDIA in gold arching type. At the heart of the shield: a red Dukes cricket ball radiating sunburst light, glowing like a sacred object. Crossed beneath it: two full-size cricket bats rendered in precise willow grain detail, the Yuva monogram on each blade. Below the bats: EST. MMXXV — the year the club was founded. Lotus flowers bloom at the base of the shield inside the crest. Marigold flowers ring the entire oval border.
The shield itself sits inside a sculpted Mughal arch in warm ivory and gold — the arch columns rising on both sides. Flanking the arch on the outside: peacock feathers in full detail, their iridescent eye feathers catching the light. More marigold blooms climb the gold filigree botanical borders that fill every corner of the composition, all the way to the edges of the garment.
Above everything: YUVA — in ornate gold lettering, aged and authoritative.
Below: THE CRICKET CLUB — in bold spaced serif with gold rule lines above and below.
This is not just a tee. This is membership. This is the piece you wear when you want to say — without saying a word — that you understand what Indian cricket actually is. Not a sport. Not entertainment. A living, breathing institution with a history as long and as powerful as any cricket club that has ever existed anywhere on earth.
