The back graphic captures exactly that duality. Ancient banyan trees erupt from the earth at the base of the composition, their roots deep in Kannada soil, their canopy sheltering a colonial-era palace that carries the memory of the Wodeyar dynasty and the grandeur of Mysurean architecture. Above it, the modern skyline rises without apology, glass towers catching light, the city that became India’s tech capital without ever being asked to choose between its past and its future. Flanking the arch of BENGALURU, two Indian Roller birds in their impossible teal and amber hover like the city’s own emblem, a reminder that Karnataka named this bird its own for a reason.
